Title: Green Silage Distributed to Flood-Affected Livestock Owners in Multan
Summary
In Multan, Alkhidmat Foundation South Punjab, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Multan, distributed green silage (animal fodder) to over 100 flood-affected livestock owners, supporting their livelihoods during recovery.
Story / Update
Floods not only impact human lives but also severely affect livestock, which is a primary source of income for many families in rural areas. The shortage of animal feed after floods puts additional strain on already vulnerable households.
To address this challenge, Alkhidmat Foundation South Punjab, with the support of the Rotary Club of Multan, distributed green silage (fodder) among more than 100 livestock owners affected by floods in Multan. This initiative aimed to ensure that their animals receive proper nutrition, helping families sustain their livelihoods.
By providing essential fodder, the program helped reduce the burden on farmers and livestock owners, enabling them to care for their animals and gradually recover from the disaster’s impact.
Such efforts play a vital role in restoring economic stability in flood-affected communities and supporting long-term resilience.
