"Coming here was the best thing I’ve ever done for my family. I felt empowered and safe for the first time in my life. The cycle of violence ends with me.” Jayla, survivor and past shelter resident
At Raphael House we believe that everyone deserves a life free from violence, and we've worked alongside survivors of abuse for more than 40 years – helping families achieve the safety, healing, and independence they deserve.
We're honored to be a trusted resource for those in-need and for their loved ones. And as our programs have evolved to better serve survivors and the community, we critically needed a website that could do the same. Now it’s finally here!

We have a lot to be thankful for at Raphael House. In our shelter and throughout our many programs, families are preparing to celebrate the holiday where they are safe, warm, and surrounded by a supportive community, free from violence.
Every year we serve more than 3,800 community members and domestic violence survivors. This life-changing and life-saving work is made possible by people like you. Thank you!
