By Tiffany Eggleton, CRM | Domestic Violence Recovery Mentor
Dear friends,
Nearly four years ago I came to Raphael House fleeing violence. Staying in shelter, surrounded by support, I was finally able to focus on my recovery, find housing, and maintain my sobriety. Now, I work at Raphael House as our very first Domestic Violence Recovery Mentor, supporting other survivors as they overcome addiction and find stability after abuse.
I'm so proud to be developing this new program - which is the only one of its kind in Oregon. In this role I walk beside survivors on their own journey to healing, sobriety, and safety.
At Raphael House, we believe that survivors are the experts in their own lives, and know what's best for their family. We're here to provide the tools and resources they need to thrive. That's why all our programs are so successful and and impactful - whether in our shelter, Advocacy Center, or housing programs, survivor voice is always leading the way!
Every day at Raphael House survivors like me are ending the cycle of violence for their family - and together we're helping others do the same. Your gifts make this supportive community and our life-saving programs possible. Thank you!
Warmly,
Tiffany Eggleton, CRM
Domestic Violence Recovery Mentor
