Deep poverty in Nepal has a terrible impact on children. Many kids go to school barefoot, holding their books in hands or in plastic bags. FOH will help 250 children in rural Ramechhap, Nepal, by providing them with school uniforms, shoes, sweatshirts, school bags and basic school supplies. Let's make education a Way Out of poverty!
Children from disadvantaged communities in Nepal face variety of challenges in the process of getting educated. Kids walking long distance barefoot holding books in hands. The project area is located 140-150 km from Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. Approximately 65% of the population is socially vulnerable people such as Dalits who are considered untouchable. Due to socio-economic circumstances, parents cannot afford basics for their children.
FOH/Nepal program is going to support schools in rural Ramechhap and Gorkha districts to create a learning environment in those basic schools where children can concentrate on their studies. A total of six schools will be benefited in 2023, on the occasion of Worlds Children's Day November 20, and those schools have altogether 250 students from Dalit, indigenous and ethnic minorities.

Kids support program responds to specific humanitarian and developmental issues among various problems caused by poverty.
