Dear Donor,
Thanks to your continued support, we are strengthening community awareness around early detection and rapid reporting of suspected illness.
Early recognition can make an important difference during an Ebola outbreak. When communities understand the importance of promptly reporting concerning symptoms, health authorities have a better opportunity to investigate cases, conduct testing, identify contacts, and provide appropriate care.
The continuing DRC outbreak demonstrates why this remains urgent. ECDC reported 53 additional confirmed cases in the latest reporting period, including cases from Ituri, North Kivu, and Haut-Uélé.
Our awareness activities encourage community members to avoid hiding illness or relying on rumors and instead seek appropriate guidance from trained health professionals.
Your generosity is helping transform ordinary community members into important partners in early detection and disease prevention.
