Thanks to your continued generosity, we are supporting an important but sometimes overlooked part of Ebola containment: helping families meet basic needs when movement is restricted.
When households are asked to remain under monitoring or quarantine, access to food and essential supplies can become a major challenge. Without practical support, families may be forced to leave their homes to obtain necessities.
Providing food assistance can therefore help make public-health measures more realistic and achievable.
Our community-centered response recognizes that people need both health protection and basic necessities during an emergency.
By helping vulnerable households meet essential needs, we are supporting their ability to follow health guidance while protecting dignity and reducing unnecessary exposure.
