Dear Donor,
In the fight against the current Ebola outbreak, Community engagement must remain at the heart of Ebola preparedness.
WHO identifies community engagement alongside surveillance, laboratory testing, infection prevention and control, clinical care and contact tracing as important components of the response.
At Development Alert continues strengthening community awareness and encouraging constructive cooperation with trained response teams.
Our approach emphasizes listening to community concerns, sharing accurate information and encouraging appropriate health-seeking behavior.
Communities need to feel respected and included throughout an emergency. This is something our team at Development Alert is focusing on to ensure the diginity of the community members are protected
Your support helps keep community voices and participation connected to the wider Ebola response.
