Dear Donor,
Families facing poverty, displacement or limited access to services may experience additional challenges when seeking healthcare during an outbreak.
At Development Alert, the team continues promoting early healthcare seeking and encouraging communities to communicate health concerns to trained professionals.
The current DRC outbreak demonstrates the importance of reducing delays between the onset of illness and access to appropriate care.
Our awareness activities also encourage families to avoid stigma and misinformation. This helps in ensuring that the affected communities are supported in midst of Ebola ourselves.
Every family should be able to understand where to seek help when serious illness occurs.
Your support helps strengthen health awareness among communities that may face additional barriers to care.
