Community spaces require continued attention during an Ebola outbreak. That's why we continue supporting communities at Development Alert.
At Development Alert, we continue promoting practical infection-prevention awareness in places where people gather, including markets, schools, transport points and community meeting spaces.
WHO reports that limited water, sanitation and hygiene services remain among the challenges affecting outbreak control in some affected communities.
Our awareness efforts therefore emphasize practical hygiene and responsible health behavior.
Communities need prevention information that can be incorporated into everyday life rather than messages that are only followed during periods of intense transmission.
