With more than 8,000 confirmed cases and 3,900 deaths reported in the DRC, communities continue facing the consequences of illness, loss, fear and disruption.
Development Alert continues emphasizing community support through health education, responsible risk communication and practical preparedness.
Our messages encourage people to remain informed without allowing fear or misinformation to undermine community cooperation.
We recognize that preparedness must be sustained over time. Communities should continue following appropriate health guidance even when transmission appears to decline in particular locations.
