Dear Donor,
The geographic scale of the current Ebola emergency makes community-level preparedness more important than ever.
ECDC reports that 63 of the DRC's 167 health zones are currently affected across seven provinces.
Development Alert continues supporting community awareness through health education, hygiene promotion, early reporting messages and responsible risk communication.
The wide geographical spread means that people living far from major response centres also need access to reliable health information.
We continue emphasizing that communities should communicate suspected health concerns through appropriate channels and cooperate with qualified health professionals.
Preparedness must reach households, schools, markets, transport communities and other settings where people interact every day.
Your support helps bring lifesaving awareness closer to communities that need it most.
