Dear Donor,
An effective Ebola response depends on information reaching people who may otherwise be left behind.
The DRC outbreak continues across 63 health zones in seven provinces, creating a major challenge for health communication and community engagement.
Development Alert continues emphasizing accessible health information for communities that may face barriers caused by distance, limited infrastructure or weak access to reliable information.
We encourage messages that are simple, practical and respectful of local communities.
People need to understand how to reduce exposure risks, where to seek professional care and why cooperation with response teams matters.
Community engagement must continue even when case numbers fluctuate because transmission can change from one location to another.
Your support helps strengthen the flow of reliable information to communities where it matters most.
