Dear Donor,
Ebola outbreak in the DRC and Uganda places enormous pressure on households already experiencing poverty.
The latest DRC figures—7,475 confirmed cases and 3,605 deaths—represent thousands of affected families and communities.
Through your continued support, Development Alert continues paying attention to vulnerable households, including elderly people, children, people with disabilities and remote rural families.
Our work focuses on ensuring that health information reaches people who may otherwise be overlooked during this pandemic.
We also promote dignity and discourage stigma against affected families so that they live comfortable live.
An effective response must protect people from disease while also protecting their dignity and wellbeing.
