Reducing Community Spread Through Strategic Hygiene Points
One of the most effective strategies in containing Ebola has been the placement of handwashing facilities at strategic, high-traffic points within communities.
With your support, we have installed stations in areas such as markets, gathering spaces, and transport hubs—locations where daily interactions are highest.
Through your contributions, we have:
As a result, these stations are now used by hundreds of community members each day. Regular handwashing is becoming normalized, reducing the likelihood of virus transmission through contact.
Community feedback shows increased awareness and proactive participation in prevention efforts.
This approach is not only reducing immediate risk but also building a culture of hygiene that will have long-term health benefits.
Your support is helping shift entire communities toward safer daily practices—creating a strong barrier against Ebola spread.
