Impact Update – Food Support for Quarantined Households
Because of your support, we have been able to provide essential food supplies to households placed under quarantine—ensuring that families can comply with public health measures without facing hunger or hardship.
Quarantine is a critical tool in stopping Ebola transmission, but it places a heavy burden on affected families. Without access to food or income, many households face difficult choices that can undermine containment efforts.
With your contributions, we have:
As a result, families are able to remain safely in quarantine without needing to leave their homes in search of food. This significantly reduces the risk of further spread within communities.
In addition, this support has eased stress and uncertainty among affected households, encouraging greater cooperation with health authorities.
Your generosity is directly supporting both containment efforts and human dignity—ensuring that families are protected, nourished, and able to comply with life-saving measures.
