Impact Update – Supporting Schools with Handwashing and Prevention Measures
Schools are essential spaces for learning—but during an Ebola outbreak, they can also become high-risk environments without proper preventive measures.

As a result, hundreds of students are now practicing regular handwashing, especially before meals and after contact with shared surfaces. Teachers are also reinforcing hygiene behaviors as part of daily routines.
This not only reduces the risk of transmission within schools but also extends to households, as children carry these practices home.
Your support is helping create safer learning environments while building a generation that is more aware and prepared to prevent disease spread.
