Impact Update – Strengthening Preparedness Systems
Beyond immediate response, your support is helping build stronger preparedness systems that will protect communities from future outbreaks.
Before this intervention, many local systems were reactive rather than proactive. Today, we are seeing a shift toward readiness and early action.

Trained health workers and volunteers in outbreak preparedness
Strengthened surveillance systems for early detection
Improved coordination mechanisms for faster response
As a result, communities and health systems are now better equipped to respond quickly and effectively—not only to the current Ebola outbreak, but to future health threats as well.
