Preventing Escalation
Ebola outbreaks can grow quickly if early action is not sustained. What begins as a small number of cases can escalate into a much larger crisis without the right interventions in place.
We are at a crucial point where decisive action can still contain the outbreak. However, we are scaling up response efforts to prevent further spread thanks to the partnership among partners involved in the fight against this case.
The team is currently working on expanding contact tracing, increasing supplies of protective equipment, and strengthening community awareness.
But time is not on our side. Delays in funding or resources can slow these efforts at a critical moment.
Your support today helps ensure that the response keeps pace with the risk. Acting now is the best way to prevent a larger outbreak tomorrow.
