Breaking the Chain of Transmission
Every Ebola outbreak follows a chain of transmission—but every chain can be broken.
Our focus remains on identifying where the virus is spreading and stopping it at each link. This involves rapid case identification, careful contact tracing, and strict infection prevention measures in both communities and healthcare settings.
With your support, response teams are working tirelessly to interrupt these transmission chains before they grow. Each successfully monitored contact and each safely managed case brings us one step closer to containment.
Breaking the chain is not easy—it requires persistence, coordination, and resources.
Because of your support, we are making progress. Together, we are turning the tide against Ebola, one link at a time.
