Reducing Risk in Healthcare Settings
Healthcare facilities are essential in treating Ebola patients—but without proper precautions, they can also become points of transmission. Protecting these environments is a top priority in our response.
With your generous support, we are working to reduce risks in healthcare settings by supplying infection prevention materials such as disinfectants, gloves, and protective clothing. We are also supporting training sessions for healthcare workers to reinforce safe practices, including patient handling, sanitation, and waste management.
These measures are already making a difference by reducing exposure risks for both staff and patients. Safe healthcare environments build trust and encourage people to seek care early, which is critical for controlling the outbreak.
Your contributions are helping ensure that healthcare facilities remain places of healing—not transmission.
