Emergency Response Update – Ebola Cases Rise in Uganda
We are responding urgently to a growing Ebola outbreak in Uganda, where confirmed cases have risen to seven, including frontline health workers in Kampala. This development underscores the heightened risk faced by those on the frontlines and the urgency of scaling up containment efforts.
Our teams are working alongside local health authorities and guidance from the World Health Organization to strengthen rapid response systems. Key interventions currently underway include:
