Urgent Call to Action: Ebola Cases Rise to 15 in Uganda
Uganda is once again facing a serious public health threat.
Recent reports confirm that Ebola cases have risen to 15, with 6 new cases identified in Kampala. This escalation signals a critical moment—especially as the outbreak reaches urban areas where transmission can spread rapidly and affect thousands.
For many communities, fear and uncertainty are growing. Limited access to accurate information, protective supplies, and timely healthcare increases the risk of further spread. Without immediate intervention, vulnerable populations remain at high risk.
Development Alert is responding on the ground—working to curb the spread of Ebola through community awareness, distribution of hygiene and protective materials, and support for early detection and response efforts.
