Together, We Can
By Karen Sparacio | Project Leader
In the United States, we take for granted the opportunity to educate our children. In Uganda, education is accessible only to those who can afford to pay school fees, buy uniforms, and provide the never-ending list of requirements. For children who have been orphaned, access to an education is virtually impossible, making the cycle of poverty never-ending.
We have been making education a reality for children in Uganda since 2006. We invite you to join us in empowering Ugandan children to create their own success stories.
For as little as $10 a month, you can be a child's hero and enable them to build sustainable futures.

Moving Forward

Despite the loss of their parents at a young age, Flavia and Angela continue to thrive. Flavia is now in senior 2 at Mukono Mixed Secondary School, while Angela is in primary 7 at Treasure Junior School. She's had a few health issues but has continued to receive medication from Noah's Ark Children's Ministry, a local NGO in Mukono, Uganda. They are the lucky ones. Often, when a child in Uganda suffers the loss of a parent, their education comes to a complete stop. Family might take on the responsibility of feeding them and providing basic care, but school fees and requirements can be too great of a burden. These children often are religated to working in the fields and never have the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty. Your support makes it possible for these two girls to continue moving forward with their education and giving them the possibility of finding future employment that will enble them to provide for themselves and their future families.
Consider joining us in helping orphaned children move forward.

Education Is a Right

"I want to help my people" are the words spoken by many of the children we support academically. Growing up as an impoverished child, these children know the harsh realities of poverty.
Through the support of dedicated donors, these children have had the opportunity to attend school and dream of bright futures.
"I feel encouraged to work even harder, because I have the opportunity [to go to school] that many do not have,” remarks one child, Gloria. “Without schooling, my life would be very difficult... I would not have been able to know that I am a bright person."
Your donation gives children the confidence and the self-worth that they would not otherwise have. Your donation of just $10 enables these children to dream and to secure the education that can make their dreams reality.
