Thanks to the incredible generosity of donors like you, Career Girls Club has made a transformative impact during the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year. Over 100 girls have taken a vital step toward achieving their dreams, building essential skills that will prepare them for success in the workplace and life. Career Girls Club is helping girls realize their potential by fostering confidence, leadership, and self-discovery.
Girls like Kia exemplify the program's success. Once a shy student hesitant to speak up in class, Kia's teacher now observes her eagerly raising her hand and participating actively. Kia shared, "I didn't think I could be a leader, but now I have new confidence because of the leadership and presentation skills I'm practicing in Career Girls Club." Stories like Kia's underscore how impactful the program is in helping young girls find their voices and embrace their capabilities.
Middle school student participants also shared their excitement about what they are learning and their growing aspirations. One student explained, "It gives us an opportunity to learn about new jobs and find out what we want to do…I think I want to be an architect." A second student shared the encouraging environment they've found, "No matter what happens or what is said in the room, I know I can feel supported."
Career Girls Club is a free, all-inclusive program providing schools with lesson plans, measurement tools, activities, and supplies to guide students in exploring career possibilities and honing the soft skills essential for success. With your continued support, we are thrilled to implement the program during the second semester of the school year, reaching even more students and offering this life-changing experience at no cost to schools. Together, we are building a future for these girls that is as bright as they can imagine.
