Introduction

The only way we can tackle all the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals is through training, investment and job creation and this is what is at the heart of this project. This will reduce dependency on foreign aid and create sustainable economic growth and empower locals to take control over their future. In addition, the project will contribute to skills development and provide job opportunities which will break the cycle of poverty.

Report

We continue to provide graduates with support and access to sewing machines, stoves and computers but with a small start-up grant to purchase essential supplies is often the only thing needed to support local women to start her very own business.

Thank you for your support

Introduction

The current unemployment rate in South Africa is 29% and the pandemic has exacerbated the problem with more and more jobs being lost on a daily basis. This project aims to identify aspiring local entrepreneurs who want to set-up a business and give themselves a sustainable income source..

Report

A gift to this project helps our women take the first step to a future as a female entrepreneur. This helps tackle the inequality of gender across Africa. This will aid in reducing dependency on foreign aid and create sustainable economic growth and empower locals to take control over their future. In addition, the project will contribute to skills development and provide job opportunities which will break the cycle of poverty. A donation of $10 will provide enough material for one of our graduates to produce 4 items to sell at the local market to kick start her business.

Introduction

This project aims to identify aspiring local entrepreneurs who want to set-up a business and give themselves a sustainable income source. Often these women have a great business idea but with no means of funding it themselves, the government is also often not an option due to lack of funding. We will provide these women with grants to get a head start in their business and instead of paying high-interest rates on a loan they instead can give back to the project to help the next woman.

Report

This will reduce dependency on foreign aid and create sustainable economic growth and empower locals to take control over their future. In addition, the project will contribute to skills development and provide job opportunities which will break the cycle of poverty. A small donation of just $10 will change a woman's life providing her with the resources to buy materials to make 4 items to sell at the market.

Dear Supporters,

2020 is over but the pandemic is still crippling nations. As we face more hard lockdowns at the begining of this year it is expected even more thousands of people are going to loose theiir jobs and join the overcrowdeed unemployed market.

We need to act now, running many projects to help retrain people is a life changing course but we can't just offer trainiing. We see a number of driven and passionate people graduate from our computer courses, cartering courses and sewing classes but after graduation with no funds they can't progress.

Gifts to this project have been and will be offering small grants and loans from $50 upwards for these people that show the drive to start their own business. Often it only takes an iinvestment of cotton and fabric for someone to make their first product to take to maket and then their lifie will change in a sustinable way.

Thank you for your support
