The Tagadzi community is a deprived community in the Volta Region of Ghana. The nearest school is 23 miles (37 kilometers) away. The community was recently able to build a school with Heritage Charity Foundation directing the project and the North American Women's Association providing funding. Children currently have no desks and bring their own chairs to class from home. Reading and writing materials are very limited due to the endemic poverty of this community.
The challenge is to provide these children with the materials to have a proper education. Desks, chair, reading and writing materials, and hot lunch will go a long way to ensuring their education. Your help will make the difference.
Your donation will give these 150 children the materials to access a complete education and give them the skills to lead productive adult lives.
With a proper education, these are the future doctors, teachers, plumbers, and IT specialists of Ghana. Help them to become all that they can become.
