Thank you for your generous donation to SUPPORT 350 OLD PEOPLE WITH DEMENTIA IN IMO STATE (54327). Contributions like yours are continuing to make a difference in our community. They are supporting Sam Onyemaechi humanitarian Foundation's response efforts and delivering crucial help and hope to people in need amid hostilities, constant stress, and difficult conditions away from home.


Besides, On the 21st of October 2022, Sam Onyemaechi Humanitarian Foundation received a grant of $20 000 through GlobalGiving from one of their corporate partners, Corteva, to Fight hunger and insecurity in Southeast, Nigeria.


We cannot but express our sincere heart of appreciation for your generosity towards our cause in SUPPORT 350 OLD PEOPLE WITH DEMENTIA IN IMO STATE (54327).


We channeled this grant into different project causes that affect the lives of people in rural communities:


a) Fighting hunger and food insecurity in Southeast, Nigeria,


b) Food processing and packaging machine


c) Post- covid-19 recovery package


d) Training 3k widows in snail farming in Southeast, Nigeria,


e) Mentoring 5000 women Entrepreneurs in Southeast, Nigeria


f) Expedite young-adult empowerment initiative in Southeast


g) Give succour and Refuge to the poor and homeless.


h) help fight climate action in s/east nigeria,


i) Feed 5000 children on their children's charity day,


j) Send a child to school in the rural southeast,

K) SUPPORT 350 OLD PEOPLE WITH DEMENTIA IN IMO STATE (54327)


We tried to make sure that this grant is used judiciously in all areas affecting life's existence. We were able to administer free medication to seventy eight (78) old people aged 55-99 years of age.


Below is how we receive money and how it was used.

a) Part of Grant from Corteva through GlobalGiving allocated to sponsor the project "SUPPORT 350 OLD PEOPLE WITH DEMENTIA IN IMO STATE (54327) =$2000


b) Proceeds from social enterprise= $158.35


Grand total = $2158.35


Below is a short description of some of the humanitarian relief you have supported us with your donation and how it was used.


EXPENSES


ii) Volunteer/Staff appreciation (10 × $65= $650


iii) ICT Development = $100


Data Bills and phone calls = $45


Community medical outreach to old people aged 55-99yrs. = $1350

Deficit of last project report brought forward = $-3.38


Grand total of expenditures = $2148.38


Balance= $9.97


The project was implemented in the rural communities in Southeast and south west. The direct beneficiaries are vulnerable and old people with dementia. With your support, we reached a greater number of old people and administered medications to them.

As the crisis rages on, insecurity, uncertainty, and humanitarian needs abound. We are committed to providing humanitarian and long-term support to old people in rural communities and we will keep you informed about how your donation is impacting the lives of people who are suffering because of this shortage.
