The Sam Onyemaechi Humanitarian Foundation, in collaboration with its social enterprise Samony Entrepreneurial Ventures LTD (Samony Foods) and powered by SOHF's Impact Nexus, continues its commitment to supporting 350 elderly individuals with dementia in Imo State (Project ID: 54327).

During this quarter, our project witnessed significant strides in enhancing the quality of life for elderly individuals battling dementia. Through Samony Foods, we provided nutritious meals tailored to their dietary needs, fostering both physical and mental well-being.

Goals for 2024:
Looking ahead to 2024, our primary goal is to expand our reach and impact, aiming to support an additional 150 individuals, thus reaching a total of 500 beneficiaries. We also aspire to establish community engagement programs to promote dementia awareness and reduce stigma.

Challenges:
Despite our successes, we faced challenges in accessing remote communities and engaging caregivers effectively. These hurdles highlight the critical need for increased community partnerships and innovative outreach strategies.
