This project will support 300 stroke patients in Ghana with rehabilitation services to help them regain mobility, independence, and quality of life. Many stroke survivors are unable to access proper rehabilitation due to high costs and limited healthcare resources. This project will provide physiotherapy, medical support, and recovery assistance to improve long-term outcomes for vulnerable patients.
Stroke is a leading cause of disability in Ghana, yet many survivors lack access to rehabilitation services after treatment. Without proper therapy and ongoing care, patients often experience long-term physical limitations, emotional distress, and loss of independence. Financial barriers make recovery even more difficult for low-income families.
This project will provide rehabilitation support for 300 stroke patients through physiotherapy, mobility support, medical follow-up, and counseling services. It will partner with healthcare professionals and rehabilitation centers to ensure patients receive consistent and effective care throughout their recovery process.
The project will improve recovery outcomes, restore independence, and enhance quality of life for stroke survivors. Patients will have better chances of returning to daily activities and supporting their families. Over time, this project will reduce disability-related burdens and strengthen rehabilitation support systems in Ghana.
