This project will provide daily care and essential support to 200 elderly people in Ghana who lack adequate family or community support. Many elderly individuals face neglect, isolation, and difficulty meeting basic needs such as food, hygiene, and companionship. This project will ensure they receive consistent care, dignity, and improved quality of life through community-based support services.
Many elderly people in Ghana, especially those living in poverty or without strong family support systems, struggle to meet their daily needs. They often face challenges such as lack of food, poor living conditions, limited mobility, and social isolation. Without proper care, their health and wellbeing decline, and they are left vulnerable.
This project will deliver daily care services including food support, hygiene assistance, basic household help, and regular check-ins for 200 elderly individuals. Community volunteers and caregivers will be engaged to provide consistent support, while also creating a sense of belonging and social connection for the elderly.
The project will improve the wellbeing, dignity, and quality of life for elderly individuals. It will reduce isolation, improve living conditions, and strengthen community support systems. Over time, it will promote a culture of care and respect for the elderly across communities in Ghana.
