THE TWO GIRLS WITH SEWING MACHINES ARE PROGRESSING
By Faridah Nabbanja | Projects Coordinator
Dear our friends, we are happy to report that the two girls we gave the sewing machines are progressing well. They have been able to get more customers and increase on thier income. They can now lead independent lives.
We wish to have more girls benefit from the project provided we get more friends to support more disabled young women for tailoring because this is a project they can do and get money even at thier homes. We are remaining with 18 girls to achive our objective of supporting 20 disabled young women for tailoring.
Thank you so much for the support.

Young women with disabilities get sewing machines
By Faridah Nabbanja | Projects Coordinator

Dear friends, we are so excited to report that two young women with disabilities received sewing machines from your generous donations. The two girls include one with visual impairment using one eye to see and the second one just crawls. The one who crawls has already learnt how to use the machine and make clothes and the visually impaired did not know, so we paid for her to learn how to use the machines,
We also added materials such as pieces of clothes, tape measures, buttons, zips, threads among others for them to have startup capital. We are hopeful that they will be able to get customers, earn income and lead independent lives.
We are very humbled by your support. We still have more girls with disabilities who need such sewing machines and training so that they can also work for themselves and earn a living. With your continuous generous contributions, we know they can also be happy in life.
Thank you, thank you so much

Disabled girls yearning to make reusable diapers
By Faridah Nabbanja | Projects Coordinator
Dear Friends, we are greatufl that you take your time and view our page of Mpigi Women with Disabilities Association. How happy we are to have you.
Disabled girls are still yearning for the project for making reusable sanitary diapers. They still believe that the project has a local market and can be managed at thier home steads. Now that we have a number of school drop outs due to COVID 19, we believe that the project is still viable and can be managed by disabled girls.
We are calling upon our friends to give hand and support the project as we prove to people that there ability in disability.
Thanks you so much again for the support and love to girls and women with disabilities.
