Our Dear Readers,
Much greetings from Mpigi Women with Disabilities Association (MPWDA). Two of the young with disabilities who received startup capital under this project are progressing well and thier lives have changed. They are still doing tailoring where they are making children’s wear and dresses for adults which they sell and get profits.
One has used the profits to buy a plot of land where she hopes to construct a house and stay. She stays alone and she believes that if she continues working she will be able to construct a house of two rooms where she can stay and take care of her life and her family. She is progressing well with support from her mother.
We believe that with support, young women with disabilities can gain skills and work hard and become responsible citizens in their country.
