In this edition of our report, we're excited to announce the results of this year's call for applications for the Professor Zbigniew Pietrasinski Creative Scholarships.
Creative Scholarships - Application Results
For this academic year, we received 32 completed scholarship applications. Of these, 21 submissions were forwarded for substantive evaluation. The Scholarship Committee decided to award two scholarships, each for the amount of PLN 10,000, to the following individuals:
Ms. Maria Kossowska-Wywial* – a doctoral student in psychology at the SWPS University Doctoral School, for her many years of commitment to popularizing science and disseminating knowledge beyond university walls.
Ms. Marta Torzewska* – a fifth-year psychology student at the Faculty of Psychology, SWPS University, in Wroclaw, for her impressive scientific activity combined with sustained social engagement.
The Committee decided to award the scholarships to two individuals whose applications received the highest number of points and who scored points in both the scientific activity and artistic or social activity categories.
We extend our warmest congratulations to this year's scholarship recipients and wish them continued success! In upcoming reports, we will introduce our laureates, sharing their stories.
What are the Creative Scholarships?
The Professor Zbigniew Pietrasinski Creative Scholarships have been awarded by the Pro Akademika Foundation since the 2017/2018 academic year. Their main founder and originator was their patron, Professor Zbigniew Pietrasinski. The Creative Scholarships are academic scholarships intended for individuals who excel in both scientific and artistic and/or social fields. The goal of these scholarships is to support those who wish to develop their passions while practically applying their acquired scientific knowledge.
