The Student Relief Fund is a scholarship programme for talented students who are facing financial, social or personal difficulties and are therefore forced to abandon their academic pursuits. The goal of the project is to prevent them from taking such drastic measures. Therefore, the Pro Akademika Foundation will ensure at least eight scholarships each year.
Our Foundation operates for the benefit of students of the SWPS University, which admits nearly 5,000 people every year - from Poland and abroad. About 300 of them each year seek financial support. These needs become more and more urgent year by year. Crises and disasters - such as the war in Ukraine, the flood that hit southern Poland in 2024 - make it so that more and more young people are faced with a difficult choice: to continue their studies, or to financially support their families.
Within the StudentAid: Student Relief Fund, we will award scholarships to exceptional students in need. One full scholarship amounts to USD 2100, which will cover the full cost of tutition fees for one semester for one person. Since 2022, we have awarded 60 scholarships, including 51 for students from Ukraine. Help us award one more!
Thanks to the StudentAid pogramme, students will have the opportunity to continue their studies and fulfill their dreams - and by doing so, they will provide for their families' well-being.
