Dear Friends and Supporters,
Every child who walks into a classroom, every young person who secures their first job, every medal won, and every dream that takes flight begins with one simple act-someone choosing to care.
Thank you.
Your support is transforming lives every single day. Together, we are ensuring that children who once stood on the margins are finding opportunities, confidence, and hope for a brighter future. This quarter has been filled with remarkable milestones, inspiring stories, and powerful reminders of what is possible when compassionate people come together.
Here's a glimpse of the incredible impact you made possible:
---------------------
219 Children Took Their First Step Towards a Brighter Future
One of the most meaningful milestones this quarter was seeing 219 out-of-school children return to learning.
For many of these children, school had once seemed like an impossible dream. Today, they are back where they belong -inside classrooms, learning alongside their peers and building the foundations for a better future.
162 children from our Street Smart programme enrolled in Government schools.
16 children joined Aasraa's Open Basic Education (NIOS) programme, providing a flexible pathway for continued learning.
Overall, 109 boys and 110 girls successfully entered formal education.
Every enrolment represents more than admission into a school—it represents a child reclaiming childhood, confidence, and the chance to shape their own future.
---------------------
Celebrating Determination: Board Exam Success
At Aasraa, we believe education is about building character, curiosity, and confidence -not just marks.
Yet academic milestones deserve celebration because they reflect countless hours of perseverance, discipline, and hard work.
This quarter, we proudly celebrated our Board Examination achievers, whose success reminds every younger child at Aasraa that dreams can indeed become reality with determination and support.
CBSE Board Results
Aasraa students achieved an outstanding 100% pass rate in both Class 10 and Class 12 CBSE Board examinations.
Uttarakhand Board Results
Students appearing for the Uttarakhand Board delivered exceptional performances, with pass percentages of 97% in Class 10 and 91% in Class 12. Nearly half of the Class 10 students and over 60% of Class 12 students secured First Division
Congratulations to every student who crossed this important milestone.

Great Teachers Create Great Futures
Children thrive when teachers continue learning.
Guided by our belief that "Before we teach our children, we invest in our teachers," Aasraa conducted an intensive 8-day Summer Teacher Training Programme for 164 outreach members, teachers, and project leaders.
The programme strengthened classroom practices through sessions on:
Foundational Literacy and Numeracy
Effective Mathematics, Science and English pedagogy
Computational Thinking
Child Protection and Safety
ERP Systems
Professional Action Planning
The training was made even more enriching through the generous support of the Azim Premji Foundation, whose experienced facilitators shared practical insights and innovative teaching approaches.
When teachers grow, every child benefits.
---------------------
Strengthening Partnerships that Create Lasting Impact
This quarter, Aasraa had the privilege of welcoming senior leaders from TITAN and The Hans Foundation to our SkillAbility program.
Their visit provided an opportunity to witness firsthand how vocational education is equipping young people with practical skills, confidence, and pathways to sustainable employment.
Meaningful partnerships like these strengthen our shared commitment to creating opportunities for children and youth who need them the most.
---------------------
Golden Girls, Golden Dreams
Some victories go far beyond the podium.
This quarter, two extraordinary girls from Aasraa made the nation proud at the Indo–Nepal International Youth Games 2026 in Pokhara.
Soni – Leading with Courage
Growing up in a family of subsistence farmers, Soni found both a home and new opportunities through Aasraa's Shelter Home.
Today, she captained her Kabaddi team to a thrilling 21–18 Gold Medal victory over Nepal, demonstrating remarkable leadership, resilience, and determination.
Geeta – Running Towards Hope
After losing her father two years ago, Geeta's family faced immense challenges.
With the support of Aasraa, she has continued pursuing both education and athletics. This quarter, she sprinted to Gold in the Under-14 100-metre race, proving that resilience can overcome even life's toughest obstacles.
Their victories remind us that when children receive love, security, and opportunity, they can achieve extraordinary things.
---------------------
Young Changemakers from Around the World
This summer, Aasraa became a hub of learning, collaboration, and service.
Between April and June, 25 interns and volunteers representing 17 institutions across India, along with a volunteer from France, contributed their time, expertise, and enthusiasm across multiple programmes.
They taught academic subjects, mentored children, supported sports and creative activities, conducted research, contributed to design and filmmaking, strengthened monitoring systems, assisted with medical support, and worked alongside our outreach teams.
Adding an international dimension, 22 educators from the University of Nebraska Omaha spent time with children at our shelter homes through engaging and joyful learning experiences.
Together, these young changemakers demonstrated that compassion knows no borders.
---------------------
SkillAbility Opens Doors to Employment
Employment changes lives - not only for young people but for entire families.
During this quarter, 73 SkillAbility trainees secured employment across hospitality, automotive, retail, marketing, beauty, technology, and corporate sectors.
Graduates joined respected employers including ITC Savoy, Crowne Plaza, Lemon Tree, Country Inn, Ess Ell Honda, Geetanjali Salon, Aamby Valley City, and several other organisations.
Each placement represents something much bigger than a job -it represents dignity, independence, confidence, and the beginning of a sustainable future.
---------------------
National Recognition for Financial Literacy
This quarter also brought an honour that belongs to every member of the Aasraa family.
At the HDFC Securities – Powerful Voices in Finance Awards 2026, Aasraa received the award for Outstanding Contribution in Financial Literacy for Youth and Students.
This recognition celebrates our commitment to preparing young people not only for academic success but also for informed financial decision-making that will benefit them throughout their lives.
