Respected Donor !
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan organized many types of awareness activities in this year’s International Pushkar Fair to aware people about different social evils like child marriage, gender based violence, violence against women, dowry etc. All of this awareness was done under the Her Voice: Stop Violence Against Women project of RSKS India. The different awareness activities organized at the International Pushkar Fair were the camel cart awareness, Signature banner awareness, Face to face awareness, My Selfie awareness etc. More than 1500 people were directly approached through this 3 day awareness program at the International Pushkar Fair and thousands were the indirect beneficiaries. Many people enjoyed this program and were part of this program for all the 3 days.
One of them is the Meera (Name Changed) and her own words for the program is as follows:-
My name is Meera and I am 50 years old, I came at the International Pushkar Fair with my husband and 3 children from 300 km far away. We stayed at a hotel in Pushkar so that we could enjoy the fair. On our first day at the fair we saw many beautiful things and the most important of them all was some people raising awareness about the social evils which is prevailing still in today’s time. It is due to the lack of awareness and education amongst the people and there must be people raising awareness and education about it. I went to those people who were raising awareness at the fair and I got to know that they are from Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan (RSKS India). These people were doing many types of awareness activities at the fair like camel cart awareness, Signature banner awareness, Face to face awareness, My Selfie awareness etc. I went to them to ask more about the program and to be part of the noble cause. My family members also went with me and they also like all the awareness activities they were doing.
All the three days, I saw those people from RSKS India raising awareness for a social cause and it was surely making a deep impact in all the visitors as when we became a part of their awareness activities me and my family got mesmerized by the job they were doing and we also self-introspected the things which we could do but we have not done till now. The way of raising awareness about the social evils was so easy to understand and it surely changed the mindset of thousands of people who visited International Pushkar Fair. This awareness program made everyone understand about the problems which are still prevailing in the society. I thank the organization from bottom of my heart as this program is surely making a change which is very necessary in today’s time.
Once again thank you so much for your valuable Support.

Dear Patron !
RSKS India family wishes you a Happy Holidays.....
There are many violence cases in rural areas and the urban areas which even are not reported at the police station. The violence against women and girls must be stopped to have a better nation and a better world but still in this 21st century it has not been achieved till yet. RSKS India is successfully working to stop violence against women from the last 30 years and the little efforts of the organization have surely changed the mindset of many people still there is much more work to be done to eradicate this social evil from the whole society. These programs are done to raise awareness and educate the rural as well as urban people to stand together against the violence done on women and girls.
In this context, RSKS India team organized the “HUMARI AWAZ (Our Voice)” program at more than 40 different government schools of different villages. Through this program, more than 2500 school students were reached. In this program, the awareness about gender-based violence and the activities done were group discussions, role play, flipcharts, story telling sessions etc. These activities were done so that the people could understand the adverse effects of the gender-based violence and would bring a change in their life. RSKS Team members gave all the necessary things for these activities to the school children. The whole program was done with the approval from school administration and they also said that awareness on this issue is very important. The children represented their thoughts in the drawings they prepared and the role play they did.
This program was to bring a small change in the mindset of the society so that gender based violence could be stopped and this program surely made a change as these school going students are the future of the villages and they took oath to never ever commit gender based violence and would always raise voice against it. The school administration appreciated the whole program as the innovative way of spreading awareness to the school children was something new for them and they asked the RSKS team members to come regularly with other social evil topics also. A small seed of Ending Gender Based Violence was being planted in the mindset of these school children and they would surely spread this knowledge to others. All the children at the school were very happy to be the part of the program and thanked RSKS India for organizing such a wonderful program.
Many Thank You Again!!

Dear Patron !
RSKS India Family wishes you a Happy MERRY Christmas!
Social Evils prevailing in the sociaty are the negligence of the people and the conservative thinking which do not let the voice of victim to be heard. This is due to lack of awareness in the some areas. In order to deal with this situation, RSKS India is having its Stop Violence Against Women project in the rural areas from the year 1992. Much have been changed through this program as it focuses on mass awareness about social evils like child marriage, dowry, violence against women, gender inequality etc. There are many awareness activities which are implemented under this project and most of these awareness activities are done in the remote rural areas as it has been observed that much work is needed in this.
In this context, RSKS India organized the Mass Awareness About Social Evils Through Wall Paintings program under the Stop Violence Against Women project. These wall paintings were 10 X 05 feet and were made up of oil paint so that it could last longer where ever it was drawn. This awareness wall painting work was done in 10 villages and total of 50 awareness wall paintings were drawn at the places where the rural public visited many times. These wall paintings were drawn to give the message of End child marriage, Stop Violence Against Women, Gender Equality etc so that the rural people and the passerby could also understand the importance eradicating these social evils from the society. After making the wall paintings, RSKS team also visited these places to take the feedback from the rural people as well as from the passerby people to gain insights from the program.
Through these 50 awareness wall paintings at 10 villages, RSKS India was able to aware approx 20,000 rural and passerby people about the ending child marriage, stop violence against women, gender equality, stop dowry etc social evils. These oil wall paintings would not only provide awareness to these 20,000 people but would also be spreading awareness to many more people in the next years as the life of the oil wall paintings is long. A small change in the conservative thinking of the rural people was observed through this awareness program as many people who didn’t paid attention to this pivotal topic are looking on to it. The village administration also were very happy with this work as the informal reports to them decreased after the awareness wall paintings were made. Village people as well as other people appreciated the program when RSKS team visited the village to take feedback. This kind of small efforts would surely lead to a violence free society some day.
Once again thank you so much for your valuable Support.

Dear Patron !
Girl child is considered as a burden on the family in the some areas. This is due to illiteracy, lack of awareness and conservative thinking of the society. In order to address this situation, RSKS India is doing many awareness workshops, sessions, activities under the HER VOICE project. This project is to aware, educate, and bring a change in the male dominated society and all the project activities are also done at the ground level. In this context, one of the awareness done at the grassroots level is through the village action groups. The group consists of adolescent girls and boys who are going to school and two separate groups are formed. Both the groups and boys work together at their own village to raise awareness on the social issues.
In this context, these groups identified the women from their villages who were pregnant and then when the baby girl was born of any of the women then these groups informed RSKS team and then the whole team went at the house of the new born girl child and then welcomed the parents of the new born girl child by playing the plates, and then garlanded both the parents in order to honor them and the village action groups danced and sang in front of them to make the birth of the girl child an occasion. After this they also set up a name plate outside the house where the girl child was born so that everyone could know the house by the girls name and the girl would get recognition. At last, the groups gave the parents a tree and went to their courtyard to plant that tree as this tree would always be the resemblance of the girl child in their house. All this work is done in order to change the thinking of the society.
These village action groups are bringing small changes in the mindset of the rural community. The parents of the girl child feel immense respect as they are honored by someone on the birth of a girl child. The mother of the girl child is so happy as she had hesitation earlier due to the conservative thinking of the society however when she is greeted by the adolescent children of village action groups and see their zeal to celebrate the birth of her girl child, she also feels excitement. These children are bringing small changes at the ground level and are becoming role models to others as they are eradicating social evils from the ground level itself through awareness, education and affinity. The parents of the new born girl child thanked RSKS India team and these adolescent children from bottom of their heart for making the birth of their girl child an celebration.
Once again thank you so much for your valuable Support.
