Respected Patron !

RSKS INDIA is working for ''May All Live Happily'' and is always taking new steps for that. From time to time we see the impact stories from ground by our feedback forms.one of these Beneficiary's story is shared in this report.

Meet with Hema......!!

My name is Hema (Name Changed) and I live in a small village near the city. I am 29 years old. I had faced many financial problems when I was not married and after getting married my financial problems were not solved. My husband worked as a daily wages labour in a small factory near our village. In the second wave of Corona, we started facing many problems as my husband was also sitting at home unemployed. I have two children. we didn’t had any savings. I could not get any work at that time due to Corona.

In this harsh time, Free Advanced Garment Making training was conducted in my own village by RSKS Organization. After hearing this, there was no place for my happiness. I immediately applied for this training. I took this training regularly for two months and took all the lessons very carefully and also practiced them at my home. During this training, I learned cutting, measuring and sewing of items like lehenga, salwar suit, kurti, blouse, rajputi dress, etc. The training was practical as well as theoretical in which I successfully learned the garment making course. During training, I also received capacity building, life skills, EDP training which increased my confidence.

The training was very beneficial to me as I started working at home and kept practicing and after the training was over, through the EDP training given to me by RSKS Team members, I took an initiative to open my own boutique where I made garments on orders which helped me a lot. Now I am getting orders of many dresses from my nearby villages from which I am earning sufficient. Now I have become self reliant and my husband has also started to find new jobs. Now, my children are able to get proper education.

All these happened with the help of Organization & Donors . So, I thank from bottom of my heart.

Meet with Tricha......!!

My name is Tricha (Name Changed), I live in a small village & I am 20 years old. In the second wave of corona, my family faced so many problems. I have a younger brother in my family. I had a desire to do a beauty parlor course from the very beginning as it will keep me at my home and I would be able to look after my family, but it could not be done due to lack of money.

I got an light from darkness when I got to hear that free beauty parlor training was going to be conducted in my own village by RSKS Organization. After hearing this, there was no place for my happiness. I immediately went to the RSKS Team members who were doing survey in my village and applied for this free beauty parlour training by filling form given by RSKS Team members. I took this training regularly in which I was taught in both the ways; theoretically as well as practically and we were taught by following all the covid-19 safety protocols & maintaining social distance. Manicure, pedicure, facials, haircutting, eyebrows, makeup, etc. were taught to me in this training and I learned very well. The training was practical as well as theoretical in which I successfully learned the parlor course. During training, I received capacity building, life skills, EDP training which increased my confidence.

This skill development training changed my life as during the training, I started working at home and kept practicing of doing haircutting, facials, wax, eyebrows, etc. on the women and girls around, that made me earn some money. After some time, I opened my own beauty parlor in my village which helped me a lot. I started earning & able to support my family financially.

Meet with Anita......!!

My name is Anita (Name Changed) and I am 34 years old. I live in remote village Rampura. I used to face a lot of problem during menstruation because I used to use traditional during menstruation. I didn’t know that using these would give me the possibility of getting disease and infection. I used to get sick during menstruation because I was not aware.

One day a workshop on menstrual health was organized in our village by Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan in which I also participated. The female representative of RSKS Sansthan also gave information about menstrual health through flip charts, posters, etc. and how to maintain cleanliness during menstruation. I got menstrual health information easily through flip chart.

At the end of the program sanitary pads packets were also distributed by the organization. The women representative of the organization was informed about the use of sanitary pads and its importance was also explained. Now I understand the importance of using sanitary napkins during menstruation. I have now given up using traditional resource and i am use sanitary napkins provided by the organization. I express my gratitude to the organization and the donors who made me aware.

Dear Patron !

Corona disease spreads very fast, for which it is very important to take precautions and it is also important to maintain cleanliness. But some women in rural areas do not have enough money to buy Hygiene items, due to which they are facing a lot of problems.

Under the COVID-19 relief program run by RSKS organization, hygiene kits were distributed to more than 150 women of rural areas. In this hygiene kit, sanitary napkins, sanitizer, masks, soap, handkerchief etc. were Hygiene materials. The rural women were explained the importance of these sanitary materials and were also informed about its use. The workers of the organization made women aware of corona and gave the message of applying masks regularly and use of sanitizers.

Rural women benefited from the hygiene kit distribution program organized under the COVID-19 awareness program organized by the organization and these women became aware of Corona. Rural women got information about sanitary hygiene material and were taught how to use it. Now these women are using hygiene material and are also using masks and sanitizers regularly.

Welcome; You can also comments & suggestions on Report.

Best Wishes,
Team RSKS India.....

Meet with Lalita ......!!

My name is Lalita (Name Changed) and I live in the inaccessible regional village Nuriawas. I live with my husband and three children. My husband works as a laborer. The household expenses could not be met from my husband’s income so I also wanted some employment. RSKS provided me employment opportunity. Bag making training was organized by the organisation in which I also got training after which I started my own employment.

During the Corona period, my income stopped due to non-receipt of orders and I had to face financial crisis. Meanwhile, RSKS Organisation extended a helping hand to me. The order of ration bags was given to me for the ration distribution program conducted by the organisation during the Corona period, due to which I got employment and income from home. With this order of ration bags, other women of the village also got employment. I also gave ration bags to other women to sew.

Women along with me got employment through the organisation. I got employment during the Corona period which I desperately needed. Along with this, other women also got employment opportunities and income in the financial crisis. This helped their family expenses. I express my heartfelt gratitude to RSKS Organisation for providing us employment opportunity.
