Respected Donor Namaste!

Some people in society are harsh and cruel towards Disabled people and this is very bad. Disabled people live a life in which they hide from other people always. Disability is like a curse till today and this is the reason why disabled people are not involved in the community and they do not know their rights. Disabled people start thinking that they are of no use and this is why they do not to anything. Disabled people live their life with this type of pessimistic thinking and do not get involved in the community.

RSKS India is running a project for the benefit of disabled people. Health, education, employment, empowerment, social security work is done under this project with around 500 disabled people from 16 villages. RSKS formed DPO (Disabled People Organization) for the involvement & solidarity of disabled people in the community. With the help of DPO, disabled people are organized and then awareness is spread amongst them. Every month DPO meetings are organized by RSKS Team members in which disabled acts, schemes, social security schemes etc details are discussed.

Disabled pension, disabled certificate, Rail and Bus pass, Disabled schemes etc benefits are given to disabled people under this project. Along with this their involvement in the community is being increased with the help of DPO. All the disabled people are working together for the benefit of all through this program and in result they received special category job card by the department. RSKS is providing guidance and awareness to the disabled people so that they will be empowered. To increase the involvement of disabled people in the community, DPO members participate in the work, village meeting etc. of the official. Change in the thinking of community people can be seen by the implementation of the Project and now disabled people are getting their rights and respect in the community.

Once again thank you so much for your valuable Support.

Many Regards

The Buddhi's story from Ground.....

My name is Buddhi (Name Changed) and I am 23 years old. I live in the village Ramgarh. My father died at my young age. I did not get the love of father since childhood. Since childhood, I have seen many sufferings. I left my middle school after which I started working in the fields. I was looking for self-employment but it was not available for me. I was looking for a skill from which I could earn some income.

My search was completed by RSKS organization. Survey conducted by RSKS organization for garment making training in my village. I gave my name in it. After this I got free garment making vocational training. During that I learned to make lehenga-chunri, salwar suit, Rajputi dress etc. The training of the organization was theoretical as well as practical, which increased my confidence. I used to go home and practice sewing.  And there were orders of blouses from nearby women which made me earn some money. At the end of the training the exhibition was organized which gave me the knowledge of marketing.

After training, I started sewing at home. The women around liked the fitting and design of my clothes, so I started getting orders. During the lockdown time, orders were received through RSKS organization and various organizations. I sat home and earned a good income. I raised myself financially. Now I am living better life. I have found an increase in the standard of living. My dreams came true. The RSKS organization was an important contributor to this.

Respected Donor Namaste!!

RSKS India family wishes you a Happy Women Day!!!

Our society is a male dominated society where women do not get their rights. This is the reason why we get to hear incidents of female violence, molestation. Such incidents are more common in rural areas as there is lack of awareness. Women have to face many types of orthodox traditions. Also, there are gender disparities in rural areas. There is discrimination between boy and girl. In this way, many types of social evils are born in rural areas, whose victims are women and they do not get their rights.

Awareness rally and rangoli competition was organized by RSKS organization to spread awareness against malpractices spread in rural area. Young girls women and boys participated vigorously in this awareness program. The main objective of this program is to make the society aware of female violence and gender inequality through young girls. Under Rangoli competition, young girls created beautiful Rangoli on prevention of female violence and gender inequality. A message of awareness was received to the mass community through Rangoli. After this program, an awareness rally was organized by youth in the village. Walking through the entire village with awareness slogans by the youth, the people were made aware of female violence and gender inequality.

Girls were honored with prizes for encouraging their participation in Rangoli competition. The villagers also supported the event and praised the awareness program. Through this type of awareness program of the village, there will definitely be awareness against female violence, gender inequality and other evils. Women will get respect and their rights. Women will also get a place in the male dominated society. This awareness program of RSKS was praised and thanked by the village leader and people.

Respected Donor Namaste!!

Many Greetings from RSKS India!!

Our society consists of poor people in majority but no one pays heed to poor people. No one thinks of their happiness due to which these destitute poor people got isolated from the society. The children also have a life full of hardships even they don't have basic infrastructure and facilities to meet the basic requirements of life; for example- it doesn't matter how the climate is, these children wear rags only. These children always hope to get some sort of help from anyone.

Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan took initiative to help such helpless poor children. Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan organized a cold relief program for such poor children. In the distribution program, woollen jackets ,sports Shoes, warm cloth etc. were distributed to 300 little children so that they can have protection from cold. Marginalized & deprived children of slum & street of the city got benefitted from the program. All children got happy when RSKS Team members provided them the warm material as earlier they only had rags to have protection from cold. At the completion of the program, we gave food packets to the children which consisted of pastry, cake, cream-role, biscuits, etc. All children enjoyed all the delicious stuffs.

IMPACT From Ground!!

When Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan distributed clothes and food packets to the Marginalized & deprived children of slum & street of the city, we came to know about their conditions. The one of the slum head told that all the children belong to poor and deprived families and this is the reason why they cannot afford to buy clothes. The head also told us about Mahesh (Name changed), one of the children whose father died two years ago. After the death of his father, his mother started to do labour work and Mahesh started collecting garbage which made me feel compassion for him.

Mahesh's mother didn't earn much to buy new clothes for Mahesh. But, the day when Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan visited the slum/street and distributed warm materials to all the children then I felt happy to see smile on Mahesh's face for which he thanked the whole team of Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan and I also appreciated their efforts.

By the RSKS staff's view ...!

It's me Prashant who works with Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan as Office Admin. Being associated with the organization, I came to know about the struggle of poor and helpless children. Each and every moment of their life brings new challenge for them. The day was extremely cold when I was giving sweater, woollen jackets and warm shoes to such poor children. I wore sweater and jacket to have protection from cold then too I felt cold. But, it was amazing for me to see those children who fight the cold just in rags. It was the moment when I got so emotional I had never been in my life. The children only had vest and rags to wear, then too they somehow managed to survive, on the other hand even after having full protection, I was shivering from cold. It was their dare or compulsion, I don't know, but the children made a niche in my heart somewhere. The smile on their face after getting the woollen clothes also made me so happy. I am proud to be a team member of Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan and as it bring moments of happiness to the life of such poor and helpless children.

Many thanks again for your support!!

Respected Donor Namaste!!

People usually say that thousands of people die of cold, but RSKS India say that they die due to lack of woollen clothes and blankets. Poor and helpless people sleep in rags at footpath and roadside and die of cold. These poor people sleep close to each other during cold waves but how one can sleep sound without blanket or quilt in such conditions. They shiver due to cold breeze all the night and some old age persons die of these waves.

Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan distributed 225 warm woollen blankets to these homeless people so that they may be able to protect themselves from cold in winter nights. for getting relief from cold, around 225 helpless and poor people got blankets in different location roadside and slum area in Ajmer. All of them were happy to get the blankets and were also excited that now they would be able to have a sound sleep in cold nights.

The Feedback from Ground....

There was a destitute woman sitting at the road side on the main street of the city. She just had a worn out Thin messy cloth to have protection from cold which she used while sleep.  She used to feel restless whole night and couldn't be able sleep properly. When our activists gave her blanket, she got so happy that she raised her both hands to bless the activists. Her feelings could be easily seen on her face. Now, she would be able to have a sound sleep at cold night which has become possible only with the support of Donors.

Many thanks again for your support!!
