The stolen girls stolen futures project has been a success. We set a goal of 50,000 and we have raised 9,760. However the project is ongoing. With the funds that were raised we completed our first school year for our girls in the Kenya Vocational Training program. Twelve girls graduated and out of the twelve 9 of them have started their own businesses. The monies that were raised also allowed us to continue to operate the on-site daycare. The dayccare is a free service that we offer all the program participants. The funds have also allowed us the opportunity to begin a new argricultural initiative. With this initiative we rented a space of land and began farming fruits and vegetables, with the plan to sell some and also subsidize our food budget for the year. Lastly, in January of this year we started our second year with twenty new girls and twenty-four babies in our daycare. This project is on-going and we look forward to your continued support.
Thank You
