The Stolen Girls Stolen Futures project is an ongoing project where we are currently servicing girls in the Dominican Republic, Kenya, Ghana and upcoming in January we will be in France.
1. Dominican Republic- Two of our permenant girls graduated from High School. We were able to secure funding to pay for all of their graduation expenses and now we are currently seeking funding for their university fees. We now have five permanent girls and four temporary girls that are housed at the center. All nine of the girls are being educated in private schools. The reason for this is safety and each girl has gone through various abusive situations that they need the extra support. Out of the five permanent girls two are in their last year of High School and both were accepted into a vocational program where they will graduate with their high school diploma as well as an Associates College degree next June.
2. Kenya- Since our last report because of our supporters we have been able to complete a beautiful new Daycare facility for the participants babies. We also were able to complete a new two classroom building with the intentions of beginning two more vocational classes.
3. In April of this year we opened our 3rd location in Ghana W. Africa for abandoned and orphaned children. We partnered with Love Community Care facility in Accra Ghana. Our center houses up to 50 children that have been placed there by the Department of Children Services.
4. In January 2024 we are moving forward with plans to open the 4th center in France. This center will work directly with young women that have been trafficked and are now amongst the homeless population. We have plans to operate a Day program with hot meals, showers, immigration assistance, drug and alcholol counselling and other services.
Thank you for your continued support of this work.
