For Geek Academy, it is very important to involve women in their training process in programming and web development and to achieve the employability of women in companies interested in our IT talent.
By 2021, 12 women have taken part in our official Front End courses and 7 of them have been employed in the Technology sector.
Venezuelan migrant women have also played a very important role at Geek Academy, who overcome the difficulties of being in another country, have believed in our promise of value. they have passed the trainings and today many of them are employed and with a change in their lives necessary to get ahead with their families.
Your commitment, responsibility, creativity, dedication and value in detail are some of the qualities highlighted by employers who hire Geek Academy's female talents.

Girls in Tech: World of oportunities
By Project Cordinator | Cordinator
During 2021 we faced great challenges, but we also found opportunities to improve our work and inspire young people to consider technology as an alternative for life. In 2021 we are training 53 geeks in coding skills, employability and 21st century skills. 94% of those trained have a job in the TECH industry and they are generating income that contributes to the improvement of their quality of life. Part of our 2020 goals is inclusion, 36 women are now frontdeveloper, and 31 of them are working or studying in areas related with TECH. Also we had a version called Academia Geek Ser + Capaces, focused on people with disabilities who finish their training in December 2020. 27 persons concluded the formation. During January they will socialize their final projects and they will be starting the employability process. Thanks to all for the support during 2020. This year we have big dreams. Together we are stronger. Links: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SkGT2qmd3jE
