Continued Impact from STEM Camp Experience
Since our camp in February, the spirit of exploration and discovery continues to thrive among our 50 young participants. These rural children—many of whom experienced hands-on science for the first time—returned to their schools with renewed confidence and curiosity. The photos featured in this report capture meaningful moments of:
•Teamwork and inquiry-based learning, where students collaboratively solved real-world challenges
•Creative exploration, using 3D pens and tools to turn ideas into tangible outcomes
•Focused experimentation, such as measuring, observing, and documenting STEM-based activities with care
The impact was evident in their engagement: eyes lit with excitement, hands steady with focus, and voices raised in collaboration.
What We’ve Learned
Children’s reflections after the camp revealed increased interest in STEM careers, especially among girls who had never imagined themselves as future scientists or engineers. This reinforces the need for inclusive STEM education in underserved communities.
Looking Forward
While this camp was a major milestone, continued support is essential to:
•Expand reach to more students in neighbouring provinces
•Provide follow-up learning kits for schools
•Develop peer-led STEM clubs to sustain momentum
We remain grateful for your interest and invite future contributions to help spark more opportunities for rural youth to dream bigger and learn deeper.
