2021 has been a difficult year, full of many challenges and pain. Complicated because the pandemic has not allowed our children to return to classes, parents regain their jobs and income. It has been a real challenge for children to continue their learning process in conditions of poverty and lack of technology, and for parents to be able to meet the food, health and education needs of their children; They have gone through very painful processes such as the loss of family members and loved ones, victims of COVID-19. Faced with this scenario, it is very easy to fall into despair and discouragement during the Christmas holidays. Fortunately, there is you, who with your support allows us to continue working to bring hope and love to families this Christmas. With the support of Fundación Banorte, we were able to give a hug (figuratively) to 250 children who received a blanket and warm pajamas so that this winter they do not feel cold. We also brought them food so they could make their family Christmas dinner which consisted of roast chicken, pasta and pancakes. This moment was used to have small gatherings with small groups of families. The children were happy, their smiles could be seen in their eyes (because they were wearing face masks), the mothers were excited and moved ... "Thank you for not leaving us alone, for making my children happy, and for giving us this moment to live together in family..."
Thank you for helping us to shelter the children's Christmas and bring love and warmth to your home this Christmas.
