During the pandemic, toxic stress has increased among families as a result of the loss of jobs, economic income, school closings and the lack of resources to be able to meet the basic needs of the family. Children are shown to have greater insecurities and fears, it is the population that is not listened to during confinement, since adults often do not interact with them to know what they feel and validate their emotions. Before this problem, we saw the need to provide support to families to help them regulate their emotions and thus reduce violence at home, for which the work team was trained with the Program to Learn about Emotional Regulation and Conscious Eating , with the purpose of obtaining tools to accompany families to improve their coexistence, starting first with personal well-being. The workshop was also given to mothers and their children, they learned to recognize and validate their emotions, as one mother testifies:
"... Like all human beings, as a mother I have my own history, my childhood memories and those events that marked my life, and this was part of learning, acceptance and commitment, discovering, accepting and moving forward by building myself to Through what my history allowed me to grow, without that I would not be me and they would not be where I am now ... "
Mothers, children, families, need to be accompanied to live the circumstances. Mothers love their children, but abuse is present in their education as a way to correct behavior, and they are not aware of the damage it can cause to their children. The workshop allowed them to look at another perspective of education, from love, respect and care, especially from the heart.
