By Robert Taylor | President, St Juan Diego St Vincent de Paul
During June 2015 the St Juan Diego St Vincent de Paul food pantry was able to serve 133 families consisting of 328 adults and 214 children. These families received a total of 9860 pounds of food. We were able to make five deliveries of food to those local families unable to travel to the pantry. We finished the school year providing 43 hungry children with weekend food through our backpack program.
We continue to help local families with emergency rent and utility assistance. One homeless young man was helped with gasoline for his van, which allowed him to drive to a couple of job interviews.
Your generous donations helped us to finally put a new roof on the pantry, which was sorely needed. Thanks to all for your continued support.
