The St Juan Diego St Vincent de Paul food pantry continues to help families in our local area. In December we helped 152 families consisting of 376 adults and 266 kids with 11,560 pounds of food. This was an average of 14 families per service day. We also continue to help 49 local hungry kids at McKinley and Springville Elementary Schools with food over the weekends.
We also continue to help families with rent and utility assistance who are usually faced with eviction or utility shut off. We also help with some other financial assistance where there is a serious need. We recently helped one client who needed a state identification card as one of the qualifications for starting her new job. We were able to provide the money needed to pay for the DMV fee for that card.
Your donations are important and make it possible for us to continue assisting these and other people in need. Thank you so much for your generosity!
