In October we served 185 families averaging 13 families per service day. These families consisted of 461 adults and 311 children and were provided with 13,780 pounds of food. Our backpack program currently provides 49 hungry kids at McKinley and Springville Elementary schools with food for the weekends.
We continue to provide limited rent and utility assistance to those facing imminent eviction or utility shut off deadlines. A recent client received help with her PGE bill which avoided a scheduled shut off the next day.
During this period your donations helped us to replace a defective freezer in our pantry. Your generous donations continue to help us provide help to many in need in our local community and we thank you for your support!
