WGNRR in Action: Asia
WGNRR was present at inroads regional gathering in Kathmandu, Nepal. WGNRR's Asia Project Coordinator, Christelyn Sibugon, shared WGNRR work/experience/learnings around the following topics:
WGNRR also attended the Crea’s #reconference in Kathmandu. The reconference is a global gathering that aimed to address today's most challenging socio- political issues and their intersections with feminism, art and technology.
WGNRR in Action: Africa
WGNRR Africa held the Advancing Sexual Reproductive Health & Rights of Women with Disabilities (ASWoD) meeting in Tanzania. The meeting was attended by Shirikisho la Vyama vya Watu Wenye Ulemavu Tanzania (SHIVYAWATA) and Chairperson of National Advisory Council of Persons with Disabilities (NACPD) and representatives from the Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children; Ministry of Labor, Youth, Employment and Persons with Disabilities, President's Office Regional Administration and Local Government,members of parliarment advocating for the right of people with disabilities and Tanzania Parliarmentarian Voice of Disability Rights (TPVDR). ASWoD aims to strengthen the collaboration and partnership between people with disabilities, lawyers, medical providers, government agencies and CSOs to advocate for the SRHR of women living with disabilities in Tanzania from a rights-based perspectives.

We were present at the Commission on Population and Development 52nd session. WGNRR Acting Executive Director Marevic Parcon was a member of the Philippine delegation as an SRHR expert.
