Onboarding a New Team Member and Launching 3D Visual Content Development

We have recently welcomed a new team member with professional experience in producing medical 3D visual content in collaboration with healthcare institutions. She also brings a strong interest in sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), which aligns closely with the goals of this project.

Her participation is expected to enhance the accessibility and clarity of the "Wiki for Abortion Supporters" we are making. 3D visual content can effectively convey information that is often difficult to communicate through text or static images alone, including abortion procedures, medication abortion, and common post-abortion symptoms. And, based on her work with medical institutions, we expect she will better represent the images needed to understand various body organs and medical information.

We plan to produce 20 pieces of content, divided into basic and situational sections, to specifically address questions regarding the medical and surgical abortion processes for those undergoing abortion and their supporters.

All materials will initially be published on our blog. As the body of content grows, we plan to develop a dedicated platform to disseminate these resources in more structured and accessible formats.

Through this work, we aim to expand access to reliable, comprehensible information and better support informed decision-making around abortion care.

2. SRHR 101 graphic info card and sign language video series

Finally, we uploaded our last two sign language videos. Based on the <Talk & Share> program with SHARE, the Korean Deaf LGBT+ produced the last two sign language videos on "Termination of Pregnancy" and "Uterine Health''.

These materials are being disseminated widely through the social media channels, websites, and YouTube platforms of SHARE and the Korean Deaf LGBT+. SHARE plans to continue developing and publishing this content as an ongoing series of graphic-based informational resources, further expanding access to clear and inclusive information on this topic.

Creating Wiki Content for Abortion Supporters

Creating Wiki Content for Those Assisting with Abortions

Following a meeting with content creators to launch the SRHR101 project, SHARE decided to create a "Wiki for Abortion Supporters" as its first project.

We chose this topic as our first because we felt it was the most urgent and necessary information topic among SHARE's current activities. SHARE currently supports abortion access for adolescents, immigrants, and refugees. Through this work, we've learned that adolescents and immigrants/refugees face socioeconomic disadvantages, lack adequate legal and institutional protections for their rights, and struggle to access support from family, leaving them with a severely limited support base. Therefore, SHARE has decided to create a wiki-style, easy-to-understand, and detailed information on abortion situations to help adolescents and immigrants/refugees seeking abortions understand and support their friends and acquaintances.

This content will be divided into two parts: Basic and Situational. The Basic part will provide basic information about medical and surgical abortions. The Situational part will provide information on how to respond to specific situations, such as when you can't contact the parents of the person who needs abortion services, when you need to persuade the pregnant person's partner, or when a friend's pain is too severe, etc.

We are currently developing pilot content. We plan to release a few pilot pieces around December 2025. We will then continue to develop more specific content, including content and image elements, to enable wider sharing and use.

2. SRHR 101 graphic info card and sign language video series

Two new sign language videos from the SRHR101 project have been produced and released. Based on the <Talk & Share> program with SHARE, the Korean Deaf LGBT community has produced sign language videos on ‘transitions’ and ‘menstrual health’. Future content on uterine health and abortion is also planned.

SRHR 101 season 2!

1. SRHR 101 season 2

SHARE is preparing for SRHR101 Season 2 in 2025. Together with visual designers, web developers, and illustrators, we create content related to sexual health, sexual rights, reproductive health, and reproductive rights.
The content produced by SHARE aims to create information that is necessary but not well known due to conservative perceptions of sex, so that it can be accessed equally without prejudice or stigma, in a form that anyone can understand.
The SRHR101 Season 2 production team decided, through a meeting, to create stock images for this season. Currently, many stock images are used in content for information delivery, and these images are essential for increasing the accessibility of information, but images related to sex and reproduction are stuck in stereotypes or do not contain diversity. Some images themselves contain images of prejudice, discrimination, and stigma. SHARE plans to overcome these limitations in this season and create stock images that can be used without discrimination or stigma.
We are currently collecting various references, and full-scale production is scheduled to begin in the second half of the year. Stock images created on SHARE will be widely distributed so that more people can use them. We ask for your interest and support.

2. SRHR 101 graphic info card and sign language video series

Since last year, related to the <Talk & Share> program, SHARE has been making serial online content, and the Korean Deaf LGBT makes its sign language versions.
We create three series of graphic information cards and sign language videos for each subject, and each series consists of 10-12 graphic cards.
On April, we released grapic series about safe anal sex. Our next series will be about safe abortion. Please refer to the link below, and support our content so that we can keep making these contents without being bothered by anti-rights groups.
