Poured Out Water Technicians are an integral part to our community connection and involvement - that's why we're asking for your help to continue funding their crucial work! Our current staff of 3 Technicians complete the bulk of our water filtration projects and provide maintenance and education to families. With this project, we're aiming to provide clean water for new communities, continue the maintenance of our existing projects, and support the development of our staff ongoing!
Poured Out's previous work in Haiti has taught us that there is still much to be achieved in the water and sanitation realms of life. We're looking to explore new opportunities to serve communities of all varieties in Haiti as well as continue to maintain our 20+ Water House projects. As the number of Poured Out projects increases, so too does our need for more staff members to implement and maintain these new and exciting projects.
We will be addressing the clean water needs of several communities by continuing to pay and empower our three full-time Haitian staff. We will also provide leadership training and development for our Water Technicians so that they can continue to fulfill all job requirements while our American staff are unable to work in Haiti. Lastly, we plan to address other critical clean water and sanitation issues within Haitian communities with our expanded programs and training.
We will be providing essential training to our 3 current Water Technicians to expand the scope of services provided by Poured Out. The training will include serving previously underserved families in Haiti with novel clean water solutions, expanding our projects to meet growing needs, and further professional development for our Technicians. With the expansion of our projects, we also hope to hire and train new Technicians to continue our work.
